Autumn why you leave me hanging…

This never ending heat is driving me insane… I long for the autumn days filled with rain and overcast lights. My wardrobe is autumn ready and restlessly waiting for the cold to kick in. The heat is nice for a little while, but enough is enough. I’m tired of looking at the dry and brown, I need some green in my life… I need a lot of green in my life. I want to be surrounded by green and fresh air with no interruptions.

Tired days, steamy evenings and sleepless nights, the cycle goes on. Looking forward to the day the rain calms my soul and drenches me through. That sweet smell of wet grass and cool breeze. Layer my clothes to warm my heart and cosy up with my favourites. Thought it was over but it looks to be dragging out hopefully not for too long.
